Former President of the BVI Horse Owners Association and horse owner, Violet 'Letty' Hodge has made an impassioned plea for those responsible to improve the condition of the stables at the Ellis Thomas Downs.
Hodge, who is the owner of L&B Racing Stables which has produced the legendary Aspectation and new sensation Really Up Town, called attention to the stables during a recognition celebration at the Downs last Saturday, June 2.
She said that the horses are the most important element of the sport and they should be protected.
At-Large Representative, Hon. Archibald Christian attended the event and pledged his support for addressing the issues relating to the stables.
