The BVI swimmers are Amara and Elinah Phillip, and Brionka Halber who will be competing in the 11-13 year old category.

This is the first time the BVI is participating in this meet and the local swimmers along with Antigua were recognized as first-time participants during the opening ceremony which was held last evening, June 22.

Competition will start this morning.

Team BVI is expected to return next Thursday, June 28 and is headed by Verne Wheatley, Federation President; Elsworth Phillip, Head Coach; and Trady, Team Manager/Coach.

Is this a family, two daughters, Dad and Mom and a friend, representing the BVI at a Swim Meet....? Is that the team? Who is sponsoring the Club and how many swimmers are actively in the club and competing? Are the coaches qualified to coach and what is their background? It seems odd ......
